Original color print by Dale Gallon, depicting the heroic moment in time when deFleury led U.S.forces in the capture of British colors at Stony Point New York during the American Revolutionery War.

The event was carefully and accurately researched by the artist prior to painting. Gallon is recognized for exceptional historical accuracy in his work.

deFleury is honored today by having the most prestigious award of the AEA named in his honor. Today, many of our best Army Engineers proudly wear this medal, presented for their outstanding service to the Corps of Engineers.
